Central to the "Customs Cares" program is the establishment of a dedicated CSR Unit within the NCS. This unit will oversee the implementation of various initiatives, including school renovations, mobile clinic deployments, food and medical aid distribution, agricultural support, skills acquisition programs, and youth empowerment projects.

By targeting these critical areas, the NCS aims to create tangible improvements in the lives of Nigerians, particularly those in underserved communities. The program emphasizes collaboration with other government agencies, NGOs, private sector partners, and local communities to maximize its impact.

The launch of “Customs Cares" reflects the NCS's dedication to integrating social responsibility into its core operations. Under the leadership of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, the NCS is committed to strengthening community engagement and contributing to national development.
