The Minister for Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, hosted a delegation from the Nigerian Youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalisation Programme (NIYEEDEP) to discuss the upcoming launch of a youth farmers enrollment portal scheduled for launch on January 17, 2025, in Abuja.

The initiative aims to create direct jobs across the agricultural value chain while empowering youth in agriculture, technology, and creative industries.

The delegation, including international partners and industry leaders, highlighted the portal’s role in addressing unemployment and fostering entrepreneurship.

The Minister reaffirmed President Tinubu’s commitment to youth empowerment and urged visible outcomes from the program. The portal launch is scheduled for January 17, 2025, in Abuja.
