Apply - HM Bosun Tijani Foundation Distributing Reuse Digital Device

The Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation and digital economy Dr Bosun Tijani has announce the launch of ‘Bosun Tijani Foundation - The Reuse Lab, which will focus on contributing to efforts to connect the underserved, starting with aggregating, refurbishing and distributing previously used digital devices.

The work of the foundation will also support broader efforts in environmental sustainability, even as we ensure that talented young people who are currently unable to afford these devices, get access to them.

For this first pilot we are giving out 70 refurbished laptops to secondary school students across Nigeria, who will be the primary focus of this phase.

How to Qualify:

According to the Minister, to qualify, I am asking interested Nigerian secondary students to write an essay telling me why they should get these devices.

I’m hoping to read interesting stories highlighting your passion and vision for the future. I will also be looking out for originality and creativity, so we will be checking to see if you’ve left your entire entry to GenAl, the Minister stated.

How to submit Entry:

You can submit your essay entries at this link here https://b.link/Reuse-Lab. The Minister look forward to seeing all your entries.

The Minister also said, on another note, as we build on this work, I am also open to corporate entities who are willing to support this drive by donating previously used digital devices (laptops, tablets, mobile phones) to be refurbished and distributed to those who need them.

Please indicate interest at [email protected] for those who want to support.
