We Are Working On Reviving Suspended Programs - Humanitarian Minister

In today's Latest Npower News, The Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction FMHDS stated that they are Working On Reviving Suspended Programs. This was contained in a news press publication released by the Ministry.

The Minister made this call during the courtesy visit made by a Consortium of the Pioneers of Nigeria's National Disability Civil Right Movement and Former Committed Plateau State APC Appointees to His office on Tuesday, 19th November 2024 in Abuja

He explained that most of the Ministry's Programmes were suspended because of issues and that he needed to work on bringing them back to life and unraveling the causes behind them for better repackaging.

HM Professor Yilwatda informed them that several Government Policies had been initiated, and Mr. President had instructed him to give a human face to these policies, especially for People living with Disabilities (PWDs). He assured them that the Policies would be reviewed to improve humanitarian services.

The Minister informed of the Sustainable Plan Training coming up by 1st quarter of 2025. According to him, the training would take place in Six Geo-political Zones and the Focus would be on Energy, Agriculture, and Transport.

He further called on Nigerians to support Sustainable Economic Development to reduce poverty in Nigeria. He expressed his gratitude to the delegation for the gesture of love to him through their visit and promised not to leave anyone behind as they work together for better humanitarian services.
