What is the LEEP Program?

The LEEP Program is conceived as a comprehensive suite of interventions at job creation by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment that is aimed at facilitating the creation of 2.5 million jobs, directly and indirectly, on an annual incremental basis.

Below are 5 Things To Know About the Renewed Hope LEEP Employment Program:

1. The LEEP Program will create 2.5 million jobs, directly and indirectly, on an annual incremental basis.

2. The LEEP Program will be launched this month of October 2024.

3. The LEEP Program is managed by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.

4. The LEEP Program will provide a Comprehensive training initiative targeting women and youth—two groups that are often disproportionately affected by economic transitions. This program will equip them with skills to participate in the green economy, with training focused on areas such as Solar Kiosk and Solar panel installation, Greenhouse farming, and Recycling amongst others.
