NYSC To Open CBO Portal For Cybercafe Registration August 19 2024

According to NYSC management, NYSC Cybercafe Business Operators (CBO) Portal will open for Registration from 19th to 24th August, 2024.

Cyber Café Operators (CBO) are critical ‘ stakeholders of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), providing numerous online services on the NYSC portal to both prospective and serving Corps Members. Accordingly, Management of the NYSC is set to commence registration and accreditation of interested CBO to ensure sanity of activities on the NYSC portal. Thus, this document is to provide the needed guidelines for this process.

i. New business opportunities.

ii. Partnership with NYSC.

iii. Access to Technical Support from the NYSC.

iv. Periodic Training by the NYSC! The NYSC will provide periodic training for accredited CBOs to educate them on new features on the NYSC Integrated System (NIS) platform

How To Register :

Interested Cyber Café Operator must adhere as follows:

1. Register on the NYSC CBO website here https://nysccbo.org.ng/nyscbo/public/index.php? as well as upload of requisite documents as stipulated by the Scheme for approval.

2. Issuance of provisional registration for successful Cyber Café Operators, pending inspection of company’s premises.

3. Inspection of Premises/Verification of documents.

4. Signing and submission of the Cyber Café Operators Agreement.

5. Issuance of Certificate by NYSC to accredited Cyber Café Operators.

6. Monitoring of accredited Cyber Café operators.

Registration Fees:

Fees for interested Cyber Café Operators (CBOs) are as follows :

a. Expression-of-Interest fee - N5,000.

b. New Registration fee - N20,000.00.

c. Annual Renewal of Accreditation fee - N18,000.00.

Note: Cyber Café Operators are NOT to charge more than Three Thousand (N3,000.00) Naira for services rendered to Prospective Corps members (both Nigerian and Foreign-trained).
