Kano Govt Launched 50K Monthly Grant To Empower 5200 Women

The Executive Governor of Kano State Abba Kabir Yusuf disclosed that he will be paying 5200 women N50,000 monthly until he leaves office to boost Small and Medium Enterprises in Kano. The Governor shared this update on his Twitter handle, see details below!

The Governor Wrote:

In our resolve to boost Small and Medium Enterprises in Kano State, I had the pleasure of launching a monthly empowerment program providing N50,000 each to 5,200 women in the state.

Each of the different sets of 5,200 women spread across the 44 Local Government areas of the state would receive the cash, totaling N260 million, every month until the conclusion of my tenure.

The program, which is managed by the Community Re-orientation Committee (CRC), entails assisting 100 women from each of the 36 rural Local Governments and 200 women from each of the 8 metropolitan LGAs.
