Good News - Information Minister Hint On Resumption Of NSIPA Programs

In today's Latest Npower News, we will be updating you on what the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, said regarding the resumption of the N-Power and other NSIP Programmes. So keep reading!

The Honourable Minister of the Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Idris stated that the Committee set up by the President to review the operational mechanism of the National Social Investment Programme has submitted its report to pave the way for the resumption of the programmes, which will be providing N25,000 Conditional Cash Transfers to 15 million poor and vulnerable households for three months among other interventions.

The Minister stated this in Kaduna on Saturday as a guest of the popular Hausa audience participatory programme of Radio Nigeria Kaduna called “Hannu Da Yawa.

The programmes under the National Social investment programs NSIP comprises of the N-Power programme, GEEP, CCT and NHGSFP. All of these programs were suspended because of the ongoing investigation of officials on misappropriation of fund.
