FG Partner 2 Groups To Establish Lead Battery Recycling Plant
The Federal Government to Partner Til Group and Oztugrul Group On Lead Battery Recycling Plant in Nigeria. This was disclosed by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Hon (Dr) Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite via her Twitter page.
According to her, she is thrilled to share the exciting news of their collaboration with the Til Group and Oztugrul Group. Together, we are embarking on a groundbreaking endeavor to establish a state-of-the-art Lead Battery Recycling Plant in Nigeria. This multi million dollar strategic investment, holds tremendous promise for the country's industrial landscape, she stated.

Lead batteries play a pivotal role in various industries, including automotive, telecommunications, and renewable energy. However, the proper disposal and recycling of lead batteries are crucial for environmental sustainability and public health.
Our venture aims to address this challenge by implementing advanced recycling technologies that adhere to stringent environmental standards. By responsibly managing the lifecycle of lead batteries, we not only mitigate environmental risks but also contribute to the conservation of valuable resources.
The Minister concluded by saying the establishment of this recycling plant will create a significant ripple effect throughout the economy, particularly in terms of employment opportunities. We anticipate the creation of a considerable number of jobs across various skill levels, ranging from plant operations and maintenance to research and development.
