NITDA And JICA Strengthen Partnership For Renewed Hope Job Creation

As part of continuous efforts to accelerate Nigeria's Startup ecosystem in line with President Bola Anmed Tinubu GCFR's "Renewed Hope Agenda’ of creating Millions of Digital jobs, the Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, had a productive meeting with a team from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

According to NITDA, the purpose of the visit was to further strengthen the existing partnership between the two agencies with focus on further collaboration, particularly the JICA New Cooperation Scheme Idea for Solving Challenges and establishment of state of the art Innovation Hub, which will include Fab-Lab and Startups Hub.

This collaboration aims to enhance and build a social startup ecosystem by providing financial and technical assistance to seed and early stage startups to foster the growth of startups in Nigeria
