Every Nigerian who has attended a boarding Secondary School will know the scary story of Madam Koi Koi. It is a Boarding School, night story that students of boarding schools in Nigeria do scare themselves with at Night.

The story is about a woman who walked around the students' hostel at night invisible. When she walks at night, you only hear the sound of her shoes sounding Koi Koi Koi.

The woman is said to be a metron in a school dispensary. She used to take good care of the students whenever they were sick. So one day she died and her spirit walked around the students' hostel at night invisible.

So when new students are enrolled into the boarding schools, the senior students will tell the story of this scary invisible spirit called Madan Koi Koi who we are meant to understand walked mysteriously to frighten the young students to behave and not to break the school rules and regulations

So each time a student refuses to participate in a compulsory activity in the hustle, he will be told that Madam Koi Koi will visit him at night, and he will become scared and then partake in the activities to avoid Madam Koi Koi's visitation.
