The National Population Commission NPC management has stated that its attention has been drawn to misleading and false information being circulated by some mischief makers on various social media platforms concerning the purported recruitment for the upcoming Population and Housing Census with the intention to defraud unsuspecting citizens. We want to state unequivocally that the Commission did not issue such a public announcement as being circulated during this period.

The Commission wishes to inform the public that it is not undergoing any recruitment exercise for the Census at the moment and that NPC has concluded recruitment of the functionaries for the next Census before the exercise was postponed.
