Hilda Baci Cooking Marathon - Nigerians Cheers As She Breaks Record

Nigerians Joined Hilda Baci as she takes on the cooking marathon Guinness world record on a 4-day epic adventure!

Hilda Baci is a chef from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. She has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time at 87 hours, 50 minutes. The old record for the world's longest cooking marathon was held by Lata Tondon who completed the task in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 secs in Rewa, India in 2019.

According to Hilda Baci, she took on this her latest task because it is one of her biggest aspirations, adding that it is also an opportunity to tell some positive stories from Africa through the meals that we eat.

During this period of her quest, she received support from Nigerians including some notable celebrities like: Actor Charles Okocha; actress, Kate Henshaw, singer, Tiwa Savage, media personality, Enioluwa, and many others who appeared at the event.

The Government of Lagos State also pay her visits during this quest.
