According to the Ministry, on Thursday, a crack team from Union Bank Nigeria, led by the Head of Retail and Digital banking, Vivian Imoh-Ita paid a courtesy visit to the Hon. Minister Fed Min of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq to foster partnerships that will empower more women and the girl child.

Union Bank plans to partner with the ministry in areas of empowerment, Skills acquisition, loans, etc
Other bank officials who accompanied the team leaders are Chioma Nwokike Head of Alpher and Elite Banking, Jennifer Ugboh Head of External Communications, Amarachi Nwoke, Relationship Manager, Alpher Champion, and Doris Darusa Relationship Manager/ Alpher Ambassador.
Ministry is currently carrying out a series of N-Skills training for the Npower non-graduate program beneficiaries. The skills empowerment training offered by the N-Power, N-Skills Programme has three main objectives.
