The Management of SASSA has given the payment update for the month of January 2023. According to the update:

1) OLDER PERSON’S GRANTS will be paid from Tuesday, 03 January 2023. This includes any grants linked to these accounts:

2) DISABILITY GRANTS will be paid from Wednesday, 04 January 2023. This includes any grants linked to these accounts.

3) All other grants will be paid from Thursday, 05 January 2023

According to SASSA, there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.
