It is no longer news that the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for full time appointment to fill existing vacancies in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC.

However, what is bothering applicants who are trying to apply for the available vacant positions in the NSCDC is their inability to access the recruitment portal at cdcfib.career.
As a result, we decided to create this post to help you solve the problem of not able to access the NSCDC recruitment portal. So let go straight to the solution.
How To Solve NSCDC Recruitment Connection Error
In order to access the NSCDC recruitment portal without having not secure connection error, follow the steps below:
1. Use the following browser to access NSCDC recruitment portal: edge, chrome, or opera mini browser
2. Make sure that you are using a strong data network connection to access the NSCDC recruitment portal.
3. When you get an Error when accessing the portal, try again preferably by midnight when the network congestion is low.
4. If you visit the NSCDC recruitment portal using the link https://cdcfib.career, you may get not secure connection error. if that occurs, use http://cdcfib.career to access the portal.
The reason is because the NSCDC Recruitment portal is not yet using a secure network SSL certificate and so when you try to visit the portal using a secure network using (https) it will bounce back with not secure connection error if you are using chrome browser.
You will be able to access the portal using (https) when secure network SSL certificate is activated.
