NYSC News - Link to NHIS Portal Now Added On The Dashboards

In today's latest nysc news, Link to NHIS portal is now available on the NYSC dashboards of all Corps members.

NYSC corps members should log-on to their dashboard at https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1 and Use their callup number as Username and NHIS number as password (for example NYSC/ATB/2022/999103 and 8772325).

The official commencement of the collaboration and new health initiative for corps members was birthed with an impressive Flag-off and enrollment ceremony presided over by the Honourable Minister for Youth and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare and other notable personalities from different walks of life. This event was held at the Conference Room of the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja on Friday 11th February, 2022.

Objectives Of GIFSHIP-n

1) Ensure every mobilized and serving corps member has access to good health care services and in the process prevent avoidable deaths; Protect corps members from financial hardship of huge medical bills

2) Reduce huge medical bills being incurred by the Scheme on health care services for corps members; Maintain high standards of health care delivery services

3) Maintain high standards of health care delivery services

4) Contribute to achievement of national goals and target on all citizens’ enrollment into NHIS.

The programme is for mobilized and serving corps members, from the date of mobilization and call-up, to the end of three weeks terminal leave after their passing out parade.
