FRSC Academy UDI/FUTO Postgraduate Programme 2022 - Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Postgraduate programmes in Transport Management Technology (specializations in Road Safety Management and Road Traffic Management) of the FRSC Academy, Udi, Enugu State offered in affiliation with the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The programmes are available in Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree under Full-Time mode of study.

1.0 General Entry Requirements:

All candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes at O’level, which must include English Language and Mathematics and three other relevant subjects obtained at not more than two (2) sittings. In addition, NYSC discharge, Exemption or Exclusion certificate is also required.

2.0 Other Necessary Information:

2.1) PGD in Transport Management Technology (specializations in Road Safety Management and Road Traffic Management)

Candidates applying for the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) must have any of the following in addition to the general entry requirements:

i. A Bachelor’s Degree in Transport Management Technology from FUTO or any other recognized institution with a third class.

ii. A Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Honours in other related disciplines from FUTO or any other recognized institution.

iii. A HND with at least Upper Credit in Transport Management or related disciplines.

iv. A HND with Lower Credit in Transport Management or related disciplines plus at least five (5) year post graduation work experience in Transport Management or allied areas.

2.2) M.Sc. in Transport Management Technology (specializations in Road Safety Management and Road Traffic Management)

Candidates applying for the Master of Science (M.Sc.) must have any of the following in addition to the general entry requirements:

i) A Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in Transport Management Technology or related disciplines from FUTO or any other recognized institution.

ii) A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution plus a PGD in Transport Management Technology or related disciplines of not less than 2.50 Cumulative Point Average (CGPA) on a 5-point scale or a 2.00 CGPA on a 4-point scale.

3.0 Duration Of Programmes:

3.1) PGD in Transport Management Technology (specializations in Road Safety Management and Road Traffic Management). Two (2) Semesters of Minimum of 12 Months and Maximum of 18 Months.

3.2) M.Sc. in Transport Management Technology (specializations in Road Safety Management and Road Traffic Management) - Three (3) Semesters of Minimum of 18 Months and Maximum of 24 Months.

4.0 Method Of Application:

A non-refundable application fee of twenty-five thousand Naira (N25, 000.00) only should be made via Remita into Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Academy / CBN Account No: 0020104865012; NUBAN: 3000112679.
