Trained FMHDS Mobile Money Agents Gets Npower POS Machine - The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Faroug who flagged off the FG Mobile Money training programme across the Country Distributed Npower POS machine To some Trained youths on Mobile Money Agents business.

It was recall that one of the exit package disclosed by the federal government for the batches A and B Npower beneficiaries is the SANEF Mobile Money Agents which some selected youths are currently been trained for.

The Honourable Minister few weeks ago stated that the Npower exited volunteers will commence the Nexit Scheme training which they applied for months ago this October but as it is at the moment only a few youths across the country are currently been trained for the mobile money agent business.

The Mobile Money Agents’ Programme was introduced in 2020 to sustain the social inclusion agenda of President Buhari's Administration. It is consistent with the President's vision of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty by 2030.

The programme is designed to empower unemployed youths and develop their competence to operate as registered mobile money agents. This training will enable these beneficiaries to meet the minimum technical and business requirements for becoming mobile money agents and enhance their entrepreneurial competence to successfully start and manage mobile money businesses.
