Meet the Nigerian American sisters Nneka, Chiney, and Erica Ogwumike for their selection to Nigeria's provisional Olympic basketball team TokyoOlympic2020/2021. The trio could make history playing together. Nneka and Chiney play for Los Angeles Sparks in California, while Erica plays for Minnesota Lynx based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Ogwumike sisters are on the threshold of history after the trio was listed in the 19 women provisional list submitted to the Nigeria Basketball Federation by Head Coach, Otis Hughley.
Number one overall draft in 2012, 2016 WNBA Most Valuable Player and current Los Angeles Sparks power forward, Nneka Ogwumike has been penciled down alongside Chinenye Ogwumike who had previously represented the United States of America at the under 18 and u 19 categories.
