FMYSD Digital Skills Beneficiaries Get Laptop After Training

The Federal Government of Nigeria via the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development have successfully trained some selected youth across the country with relevant digital skills, and also empowered them with laptops and other tools for enterprise Development.

The training which lasted for 3 weeks at National Youth Centre Ode-Omu, Osun State equipped unemployed youth from all 6 geopolitical zones with skills in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Device Repair, Programming, Digital Marketing, Web Design and Cinematography.

While delivering his keynote address at the closing ceremony of the camp training, the HM of Youth and Sports Development @SundayDareSD through the Director, Enterprise Development And Promotion Department, @NigeriaFMYS Mr Momoh Olugbenga stated that, the ministry is committed to youth development as one of the key factors of President @MBuhari led administrations @NigeriaGov agenda to lift 100 Million Nigerians out of poverty through practical and relevant digital skills acquisition.

Sunday Dare further hinted that, "ICTs are changing the world of work, creating new jobs and business opportunities, transforming labor markets and educational system and significantly contributing to the social and economic developments of countries.”

Certificates were handed to all participants. The beneficiaries also got laptop computers, digital video/photo cameras, android tablets, phone repair tools and workstations among other things.
