Fmardpace Gives Update On MAGPAMAN Registration

Inline with the MAGPAMAN Registration Update given by Fmardpace on the 25th of March 2021, that they have been informed that Maize Growers Processors and Marketers Association of Nigeria (MAGPAMAN) is asking AFJP farmers to register with them for a fee. And said that they will look into it and communicate their findings/resolution.

We are excited to tell you that Fmardpace have given a new update following the earliest statement offered. According to Fmardpace, They met with the President of MAGPAMAN last week, and it was agreed that the registration fee charged on farmers be stopped immediately.

AFJP farmers are NOT mandated to make any payment for registration.

Fmardpace also stated that Last week they met with AFJP stakeholders to agree on the best way to proceed with the Dry Season Support given that the rains have started. And they have agreed to merge Dry Season Support with Wet Season Support.

The Wet Season Support activities have commenced! Preparation to identify farmers eligible for wet season support has begun, said Fmardpace.
