On today's latest Npower news, there are rumors circulating online that the Federal Government has announced the continued payment of stipends to N-Power 2016 Batch A beneficiaries and Npower 2017 Batch B beyond the expiry month of June/ July 2020.
Npower discussion group did research to attest the Fact of this news but arrived at an inclusive point due to not enough evidence to show if the news is genuine or not. The Management of Npower has not released any statement regarding that on their information platforms yet.
The news circulating online stated that a statement issued by Miss Ramatu Umar Senior Special Assistant to the Humanitarian and Disaster Minister on Media and Publicity, on Thursday in Abuja, said funding for the continued payments is contained in the 2021 budget.

However, Ramotu said that beyond the payments of stipends, the Federal Government is also exploring further options to seamlessly move the beneficiaries from the government job programme to positions where they were able to earn a sustainable income.
She said that the transition would be through a plan, designed to enable them to become valuable, all-rounded employees, employers, or entrepreneur.
The Management of Npower has not made any comment regarding this news yet. Until then, let us hope that the batches A and B volunteers are not being forgotten.
Npower Batches A and B were disengaged by June, July 2020 to be given opportunities in other government Programmes.
