The Minister of Humanitarian affairs disaster Management and social development, Sadiya Umar Farouq message to Nigeria youths regarding the EndSars crisis across the Country.
Sadiya Umar Farouq Message:
The past few days have been distressing to me not just as a public officer but as a mother, sister and aunt. A week ago I made a passionate call for restraint & caution. I have been deeply saddened by the unnecessary loss of lives and destruction of property.
To paraphrase John Donne, any man's death diminishes us as human beings and as a people. The incidents of the past few days have been disastrous and they are leaving a worsening humanitarian toll in their wake from Lagos to Jos, Abuja to Aba.

I want to call, once again, on the security forces to exercise utmost restraint in dealing with the situation while calling on my younger brothers and sisters to cease from the violence which only helps to exacerbate the situation.
We are always stronger when we are united and violence only begets more violence. Once again, I am making a passionate call for calm and dialogue. May the souls of the departed rest in peace and may those who are complicit be brought to justice.
