Recently, the Hon Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Sadiya Umar Farouq had an interview with the CEO of Zamani Television Hajiya Fatima Aminu.
In this chat, the minister speaks on the various Social Investment Programmes and the challenges thereof.
According to the Minister, Mr President efforts is to institutionalized the social investment programme including Npower so that it will not be scrap if new administration takes over.
She talked about the Npower graduate and non-graduate programme. She stated that Npower batch A and B beneficiaries have been exited to be given opportunities in new government programme which the volunteers selected. And that they are in the process of recruiting new beneficiaries for the batch C.
The Minister also discussed issues regarding the conditional cash transfer programme and the National home-grown School feeding programme.
