Mixed Feelings As NPower Begin May Stipend Payment

There is a mixed feeling within NPower volunteers as the Ministry of humanitarian affairs begins payment of May stipend today Monday 1st June 2020. The Npower volunteers who had received their March and April stipend are very excited as they commend the Minister of humanitarian affairs Sadiya Umar Farouq for May stipend prompt payment.

Volunteers who are yet to receive their March and April stipend, on the other hand, seem to be disturb for been left out of a two-month payment. However, NPower has instructed the group of volunteers who are yet to receive their March and April stipend to send an email with the subject "Unpaid March and April stipends" to [email protected].

Why some of the volunteers are worried about the early payment of May stipend because of the disengagement news reported a few days ago. It was stated in the news that 500,000 Npower beneficiaries may be disengaged after may stipend payment to enable new volunteers to be recruited.

Nevertheless, Npower has responded to the news that its volunteers should stay away from rumor and look forward to updates given on their platforms.

Whatever, the outcome may be, we hope that the next plan will be something to be excited about.
