Fund For NPower And NSIP January Payment Released To New Ministry - Finance Minister

Watching nta live, the honorable minister of finance was a guest on the program, when asked why npower stipend hasn't been paid, she said, ' I can speak from the point of view of the finance ministry, we have reIeased the fund and I think the ministry in charge should be in the process of payment'

In Npower News: Today is the 12th of the new month and beneficiaries of the npower program are yet to get their January stipends.

In an interview with HAJIA ZAINAB HAMED, the honorable Minister of Finance, on NTA Tuesday Live, made it clear that all the funds needed to pay beneficiaries of the Npower Programme and the NSIP as a whole has been released to the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development headed by Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq.

The Finance Minister ZAINAB HAMED, in her right and precise words, disclosed that "we have released fund for Npower long before now, and the fund is with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, it is left for the minister in charge to make payment as at when due".
