As the week runs out, N-Power Volunteers are patiently waiting for December stipend payment to help them celebrate Christmas and new year. However, with one day left before Christmas proper and 6 days before new year, it is still unclear whether payment will be made before tomorrow the 25th of December 2019 when Christians will be celebrating Christmas.
If December payment is not made by today then that should be after Christmas because earlier this month the minister of humanitarian affairs stated that all volunteers outstanding stipends will be paid before December 20th. October and November stipends has been paid as promised except December payment which volunteers are anticipating to receive today.
It is silent and different this year unlike previous years Christmas holiday period that N-Power do announce that their call centre line will go off but discussion continue on social media platforms, we still hope that things may still be the same this year, volunteers can reach N-Power on their social media channels
. So let wait and pray that December stipend will be paid today base on logistics to enable beneficiaries celebrate Christmas well.
