The Minister of Humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development Sadiya Umar Farouq is currently attending the third Annual National Home Grown School Feeding Program, #NHGSFP Review meeting. Theme : "NHGSFP, the journey so far ans she reaffirm her commitment to delivering on the vision of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years and the Home Grown School Feeding Programme remains a key component of the FG's effort towards alleviating poverty.
The Honorable minister on Monday in Abuja while reacting to news in some quarters that she had refused to approve payments for vendors in Lagos, Imo, Kogi and Benue State. Assure all Nigeria that under her watch all the processed of the NSIP Programme and other interventions will be transparent and transformational.
The Special assistant to the minister Halima Oyedele stressed that the minister has never unjustifiably refused or delay approval to pay vendors. Delays with the payment of vendors in four States were informed by some internal processes and due diligence that needed to be carried out.
Remember the payment issue is not only affected by NHGSFP Vendors, even N-Power volunteers are suffering from delay October payment.
