FG, State Govt Seek Recruitment Of Corps Members, NPower Volunteers For Community Policing

Accounding to Punch News, the Federal Government and State Governments are working on a new proposal to boost the manpower needs of the Nigeria Police Force by recruiting members of the National Youth Service Corps and graduates of the N'Power Programme for community policing.

The Chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum and Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, has just announced in Abuja.

We hope that when this comes to reality, the transparent, free and fair process used to recruit the 500,000 Batch A and Batch B N-power volunteers should be adopted in order to recruit qualified and competent candidate.
