www.npowerdg.com dedicates today to celebrate African/Nigerian women in entrepreneurship, not just any kind of women but mothers out their who do all kind of trade to support their family. My Mother is a typical example of such women. She is my inspiration. Ever since, I have known my mother to be a business woman and she has help in lots of ways in my family. I equally believe that many other people will attest to the fact that their mother has tremendously help in supporting their family with the proceed she make out of her business. Nigerian women in entrepreneurship are part of the strong force that is growing Nigeria economy. The latest Global Entrepreneurship Monitor annual survey shows that women are well-represented when it comes to starting a business in Nigeria. According to the survey, 41 percent of earIy-stage businesses are run by female as oppose to 39 percent of males.
