According to the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) #Kogi state accounted for 40% of total cashew nut production in Nigeria and Nigeria is ranked 4th in the world with the total volume of 220,000 Metric Tonnes. (NCAN 2018)
