The 2016 Npower beneficiaries Panics As 2017 Beneficiaries Received December Stipends Ahead Of Them. This development came as a surprise to the 2016 Npower volunteers because they were expecting to get paid together with their 2017 colleagues, but the delay in payment of their December stipends is raising discussion and to many of the 2016 beneficiaries, it's really an unexpected surprise.

However, the Npower team has earlier made everyone understand that the 2016 beneficiaries are still very much in the scheme.  So, delay in December stipend doesn't mean 2016 volunteers have been expunged from the scheme.

This is not the first time the 2016 Npower volunteers will be experiencing delay in payment of their stipends. They've experienced delay in payment on some many occasions. And the end up getting paid.

Officially, the scheme ends for 2016 volunteers in November but the FG announced a bigger and an improved package for 2016 volunteers in November tagged as "NPOWER ENHANCEMENT  SCHEME". The Enhancement scheme which was announced few days ago by some news media that it has commenced is a sign that the 2016 beneficiaries are still in the programme.

Nevertheless, the 200,000 Npower 2016 beneficiaries have continued to wait patiently hoping that Npower will eventually pay this December. So, that they can enjoy the Christmas celebration.
