Vice president Osinbajo pictured teaching in a primary school in ondo state during a tour to check out how the National Home Grown School Feeding Programme (NHGSFP) is progressing.
According to VP Osinbajo, teaching has always been one of his favourite things to do. It was even more spectacular teaching the pupils this morning at the Alagbaka Estate Primary School in Akure, Ondo State.
He read the English/Comprehension passage from one of the many resources on the NPowerNG device.
The NPowerNG device has been pre-loaded with over one million resources from Learn Africa, Google, Cisco and so much more. It was amazing to read Dibia and the Zebra crossing to pupils from the N-Power device specifically Learn Africa's Pupils' Book 3. Says Prof Yemi Osinbajo
He stated that he used to be a University Lecturer but I can tell you, there is something special about reading to and teaching children.
He said he was blown away with how clever the Primary 3 pupils of Alagbaka Estate Primary School were. Feel like such a proud father, today has been such an interesting day for me.
After teaching, naturally it is lunch time. The kids and the vice president are eating lunch prepared by the NHGSFP cooks in 0ndo. He said he must confess the meal is tasty
As parents, we are always concerned about the feeding and nutrition of our children. With @NHGSFP, we insist our children are fed at least once a day with nutritious meals. I understand 35 new pupils have joined this school in the last 10 days. Feeding brings our kids to school.
I walked into a class and Emmanuel Ani, a pupil of Primary 6 had drawn this and put up on the wall. I feel so honoured and I am confident his talent will take him places far beyond what he can imagine says the VP Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
During VP Osinbajo tour to the primary school he meet an N-Power Teach beneficiary, Godwin deployed to Alagbaka Estate Primary School and they took photo.
